it’s our Etsy-Anniversary!
A couple of months back, Danni contacted me to check if I’d be keen on doing a Good Cheer Deal in July. And it went live yesterday (today for Singapore shoppers). And by some sheer coincidence, it falls on our Etsy-Anniversary (US timing of course). So do grab a couple of rings at never-before prices.
Our way of saying ‘thank you‘ for four years of awesome support. Grab a couple while you can.
** Price includes free normal shipping. Prices stated are in USD.
This turned out a little more pink than I expected. But still sweet and very ‘Sparkle Thots‘.
Was rushing this morning to prep two orders out in today’s shipment. They were for two different brides (US and UK) and they had each selected jewelry pieces to gift to their bridesmaids. A lovely thought, and a special day for all. So extra extra special care was taken in packing the order.
As there were more than the usual 1-2 items in the package, the packaging varied. Clearly the typical envelope would not cut it. A little gift tag was included for them to write their own personalised message and kraft bags to pack them all in.
I wish both brides would enjoy unwrapping the packages and that their bridesmaids would enjoy the little token specially chosen for them.
ps:- A bride planning your wedding?
- I do stalk multiples of most items i store. Just convo me for details
- Note that I am based in Singapore. A minimum of 10 working days is generally required for shipping alone
- If you require multiples, do allow time too for crafting your order. Each is custom made on order
- Do allow time for communication, discussion and time zone difference. Sometimes, your day is my night. And vice versa
- Interested in customising something totally different? I’m open to new ideas
- Price breaks are usually applicable on a minimum of 5 pieces of the same item. Enquire for details.
Happy planning your special day!

Little things that make me happy. It is another crazy week over here. School has reopened for Jayden but it doesn’t quite mean that there is more me-time with my beads. Kath is down with fever (yes, again) so responses are a tad slow. I try and get some time to work late at night but with the unending night wakings, even I got to call it a night early. Well, early enough.

This week, I’m looking for the cheery sunshine to keep things going. And this amazing photo by Three Nails Photography, seen via Style Me Pretty captures it beautifully.
It caught the very essence of what I hoped to achieve with these sunshine inspired sparkles.

dance on the golden rays of sunbeams

Feeling better already? Need I say more? These are fresh and golden, yet have a dreamy romantic appeal that makes them suitable for weddings and special occasions, as well as when you need a little zest in your attire. A lovely collection if I may so myself. And one, in which I’ve kept more than a couple for my own accessories stash.
May the sun always shine wherever you go!

So, these aren’t the sort of blooms you were thinking of when I said ‘floral’ but really, they have a different kind of beauty that is pretty darn unique. And won’t you look beyond the greens and see their beauty?

Convinced much? I’d say it is a novel way of doing things. A style that looks best at outdoor / garden weddings or parties but kind of out of place in tropical Singapore. Chances are, it’d blend in with all the green leaves. What say you?

Have a great weekend and I’d catch you here again on Monday. One last week of school before the month long semester break begins! Eeps.
Lots of things on the agenda for today. But first, a mail run!

Perhaps it is the looming anniversary. I am even more sensitive to weddings (how on earth is this even possible?!), especially those done the handmade way. For my own, we did our own church invites, programme sheets, redpacket box, bridal car decor and bouquets, church decor and sign in sheets. Some look a little dated now but then, in a sense, it feels so long ago now. Hah.
Enjoy these though. All done with style for a very special day.

This week I am obsessed with coral peonies. It all started with reading about a wedding planner’s gorgeous use of them as deco in a wedding she had carried out in late May and it set off an insane infatuation with peonies. And not just any peonies but coral peonies. Truth be told, I never quite adored the peony. It played such a central feature in so many Chinese paintings that my mind’s eye subconsciously shut it out. But it was love at first sight with these…
I hope they’d brighten up your day. Their beautiful coral colour just perks up whatever arrangement they are in. Whether they are the ONLY flowers in the bouquet or playing a part for the larger whole.
Aren’t they gorgeous??! (Click on ❤ the to get the sources, and in many cases, to see in more detail how they were part of some really fantastic deco)

… and if you got the time, drop by Sarah Chen’s site for a really amazing first birthday party. Held in the honour of her beloved Ellie. All I can say is, she’s one lucky babe! (oh, she used coral peonies as part of the deco too!)
Hello, I'm Ruth, and this is my lil corner of whimsical fun. Choc-ful of dreamy romantic delights, it's my escapade from the daily grind.
