I’ve two minds about this… Baby Kathlene’s somewhat past the stage of enjoying mobiles and I most certainly would prefer one with music, the delightful plush animals on this farmyard mobile are too adorable to pass up. Spotted this front page treasury on Saturday morning but like the previous post, have not had the time to blog. I do believe it has expired by now. 
They seem to be changing the front page real fast these days! Not that I am complaining, I love all the eye candy that has gone up.
This particular one is chosen by Monicaj, and has a organic, clean feel to it. I love the subtle colours. Nice and light. Very pleasing on the eyes. Or at least on my eyes.

Its Sparkle Thot’s first outing! After 2 years, it would be nice to finally meet some of you. If there is enough interest, this might be a regular feature.
Basically Ci-Tea is going to be a time for chill out, with good friends and good company and lots of jewelry eye candy. Also we are partnering Dawne of Earring Addict for this round and hosted at Maki SquarePatch… so you can have more places to shop! Yay!
Woohoo! Have gotten confirmation that I will be in for the next round of the Sampler…! Tralalala…! Will be submitting a selection of some new designs that will be released in store come September. So do watch for it.
Oh wait… what is the Sampler you say? Its a simple concept really. So simple its ingenious. Basically its like a Christmas present that comes round once a month packed with goodies from Indie businesses. Ok, the official “taken from website” write up puts it as “a super fun marketing & promotional tool for indie businesses. Each month, independent crafters, artists, shops, zines and record labels who run web-based businesses send samples and promotional materials to a contribution pool. All the samples are photographed, posted to the site and then are portioned out, put in little packages and sent off to Sampler Subscribers, other Sampler Contributors and members of the Media all over the world!”
But, its kind of lengthy so head on down to the gallery and discover some great samplers that have been sent in over the months!
There are lots of creative people out there in the world but sometimes it takes the odd black sheep or two to spoil your mood. I have had my work (a necklace) passed off as someone else’s work but this really takes the cake. Replicating the whole storefront of Sparkle Thots is not cool.

I was tracking my hits yesterday when I discovered some strange activity. Following the lead, I discovered this site. Reeled in shock for a good few minutes before recovering to grab screenshots of the webpage. Thankfully because the site has since been taken down though a bit of sleuthing would tell you that the rest of the still online pages are a dud and rip-off of some other site(s).
The site in question is probably being done by some not-too-good web designer who is ripping off other sites as his sample work. Or well, I don’t know. Whatever it is, this is not NICE. Nor ethical. It freaks out to see my whole storefront appearing on some other site with dead links all around.
Now please, piracy is so not cool. Regular reporting on great finds resumes tomorrow. I have no mood to write cheery entries at the moment.
