I don’t have the original psd file anymore so I can’t quite replicate this picture. A few friends commented that it would work perfectly as a calendar page / pin up. I agree but I can’t edit now. Oh well. In any case, this photo brings me back to Banff, Lake Louise. Which is going to be our travel spot for the day.

Banff, Canada, is a really lovely place to be in. If you love nature and mountains (upon mountains) that is. For me, I loved the relative accessibility of the National Park and how beautiful the whole park is. Perhaps it is living on the Equator that makes me feel the location is so special / different, and some place I really treasure.

We (the husband and I) spent but a mere 2 days there then. Entering the Rockies via Calgary. Looking back, and forward (if we ever get to tour the area again!), we hope to enter via Vancouver and really tour the Rockies with a train ride, stopping every now and then.

Below are some photos from Flickr that I found with the tag ‘Banff’. I love how each captures a slightly different feel of the location. Glorious I say.

I Found Myself In Paris, by iseeyoupaintedyoursoul

I share Meiling‘s sentiments, I want to go Paris NOW and lie at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and look up to see this image. One can dream right? And thus starts a week of ‘i wish i was there’ traveling.

Is there such a thing as “eiffel tower envy”? These photographers have taken the iconic tower and made it even more beautiful with their unique perspectives.
