blessings ~ a house full of sunshine
I’m on a minimalistic streak right now. Preferring my pieces returning back to the basics. A simple charm, a contrast in elementary materials, a focus on the singular beauty of the stones. I’ve fallen in love with Swarovski again. I’ve restocked my box labeled Swarovski and its filled to the brim with manmade crystals. Each one sparkling as they reflect the sunlight.

In a hierarchy of supplies, Swarovski are very much preferred. They have got their craft perfected well. They may not be natural but they hold their own. They are much prettier than the china knock offs and lend a nice weight compared to the colour coated plastics. They aren’t exactly cheap. I guess it’s a matter of paying for what you get. In some cases, they may be more expensive than natural stones. Though it really depends on what they are erhmm, imitating.
Compared against their more expensive counterparts like citrine and blue topaz, Swarovski crystals give a middle ground for the budget conscious. A much appreciated market for wedding parties and gifts.
I’ve delved into my gemstones chest too. And uncovered forgotten treasures. Bits of blue, of pink. Little crystals of natural beauty, each one beautifully faceted to show off their colours. They make me think of summer weddings. Of exuberant hues and light cotton outfits. But those, they’d be showcased on another day.

Hello, I'm Ruth, and this is my lil corner of whimsical fun. Choc-ful of dreamy romantic delights, it's my escapade from the daily grind.
