Like I don’t already have enough blogs in my RSS reader, I added a couple of new ones last night. Meet The Notebook Doodles. Completely whimsical and open for commission, drop by and get caught up in all the inspiration.

Happy much?

Off to plant more flowers in the shop! Things are blooming!

The weather’s turned rather chilly these last couple of days. Not that I’m complaining. I like cool weather. Less heat, less humidity please. For others in snow-covered countries, I’m sure the end is near. Or as Albert Camus says, there’s an invincible Summer in the heart.

If you were around since early this week, you might have noticed that today’s feature is by the same Etsy store as Tuesday’s Quotable Quotes. I love the simplicity of this design and it would be perfectly at home in any modern setting. Nice way to personalise the house and turn it into, home.

Pumpkins. Autumn. Harvest.

I’m so wishing I had the luxury of having a white Christmas! But no, being located so near the equator, I’d be lucky if I get a cool one.

Long time ago (ok ok, about 10 years ago?) when the buses still issued bus tickets, it was common place to find folded hearts scattered all over. I love folding hearts out of the small bits of papers, and it kept my hands occupied for the short journey home. If you don’t already know how to fold these quaint hearts, here are instructions…

Anyhow, just grab a copy of the print.

And for those that celebrate Children’s Day, blessed Children’s Day. :) I’d be out with the kids. See you back here on Monday! (All paid orders will ship out later…)

I spotted this on Sarah Jane Studio’s blog and totally hearted it. It really sums up all the mixed emotions that go into setting up a business. What I love about Sarah Jane (besides her awesome drawings!) is that she too is a mother and reading her posts lends a sense of camaraderie. If you are a mother struggling with young children and trying to balance your art, family and business, the post and the comments section is a worthy read. If nothing else, it helps affirm that you are not alone.
