Friday Selections :: A Pearly Affair

Am really really loving the fact that the weekend is so near. Almost an entire week of tinkering with codes on the backend has driven me nuts. So much so that one look at this item and I decided it should be named Martini. Seriously, with the tempting olive green… Ahh… That is probably about the closest I can get to a cocktail right now.

After looking at the necklace, I figured pearls needed their moment in the spotlight again. I really think that they are underrated. They have so much poise and grace, it can turn an outfit around. It also works as an alternative to the bride who does not want to *bling* it up all the way.

Am in desperate want of cooler weather! And I’m hoping that colour washing my world with cool blues will help to keep me cool. Whilst it doesn’t always work, it does make sure I’m fashionably dressed and accessorised. Lots of favourites in this selection because blue is also one of my favourite colours.

There is something calming, quaint and serene about it that just appeals. Ok, if forced to select a favourite piece from the items above, I’d go with Northern Lights. The colour flashes from them labradorite briolettes are just too much to resist.

We are starting another weekly feature (we hope it’d be regular!) where we showcase a selection of items from our store. It may be thematic or just a collection of personal favourites. We know that sometimes items ‘disappear’ from the front page way too fast and you might not know they existed.

** You might have noticed Luxurious Rose up in the collage above. She’s really special and pretty! She’s also our very first piece designed in gold filled materials. We have just taken receipt of the intricately carved rose quartz squares and *knew* something special had to be done.

Luxurious yet simplistic, these make perfect gifts for a blushing bride. Beautifully carved rose quartz are hand wrapped with gold filled wire and dangle from elegantly sleek gold filled earwires. We have restocked the shop with new items. Majority are in 925 silver so there is a slight premium. But we believe what you pay is what you get. There are still quite a number of items priced under SGD 20 (62 to be exact!) so take your pick. Sometimes, a little reward is what you need for a long week at work.

Carribean : Carribean … a refreshing piece with blue water hued faceted apatite rondelles topping a pale blue (almost clear!) aquamarine briolette. A petite piece measuring in at just 1cm, it is perhaps one way to bottle up your memories of the beach holiday and bring them everywhere with you. All findings used are 925 silver or bali silver.
