Weekly Treasury Love

This week has been pretty odd. My Etsy connection worked really well for a couple of hours and I managed to surf and hunt down some supplies I had been desperately searching for (crossing fingers they’d arrive next week). Then after I finished my ordering and processing the payment, the connection went bonkers again. *sigh*

Ah well. At least I did my small bout of shopping.

Here’s my favourite treasuries to boot. I am not quite sure why but there is no name for the curator of the first one. I am sure I heard the reasoning before but scatterbrained me forgot. Do you know the reason?

And… for good measure, here’s a pretty one off the front page of Trunkt. :)

The colours of this piece strangely captured me. I love the warm feeling I get when looking at it.. though I cannot quite pin it down. Perhaps it is just intuitive?

The treasury expired before I got a chance to view it proper. All the information I have regarding this pretty piece is that it was curated by Pink Parchment Soaps. The many shades of purple is kind of in keeping with the search for calmness as Jayden recovers from his fall. It does help keep us all sane.

I found the colours strangely ‘rich’. Maybe the colour of royalty does that too.

Whatever it is, let’s see what next week will bring!

counting down to 2009

Hello again! It feels like it has been months since I’ve been back at the blog when really, it has been but a couple of days. I was taking a breather over the last few days, packing orders and dreaming up new ideas for 2009. I hope they’d come to pass! I am pretty excited by them all.

But vision without action is hallucination, Don Clifton. :P I promise to get my act together and engine moving soon. Meantime, there are still some really good deals over at Sparkle Thots. So hop on over and treat yourself to a little bit of handmade goodness.

And to round the post off, here’s two treasuries I fell in love with over the past few days. I love blue. And this shade of aqua was just too much to pass up! Have a lovely day and I’d see you all tomorrow!

This week I finally turned my attention back to Trunkt. And boy was it gratifying! The treasuries are oh so pretty. And they load much better than the ones at Etsy (for me). So here is my top pick of the week. A selection of products used at bath time.

It has been a hit and miss at loading treasuries this week. Not that I haven’t been trying but somehow I am still having trouble viewing the images on Etsy. I don’t think there is any problem with my Flash player so something else should be the issue. Still snowed under to figure out what really went wrong so I’d just hang on tight for now.

That said, amongst the few I managed to spot, I found this which I really love. Curated by Olaladesign, it has a nice mix of orange and blues that I like.

This is one of the few treasuries I managed to spot. Somehow my connection to Etsy has been wonky and the pictures don’t load for me. It is just on my computer as I tested it out on the other 2 in the home. I still cannot figure it out! I restarted the computer, cleared the cache, everything but the problem still persists. Perhaps it is a subliminal message to tell me to stop spending!

I hope the problem clears up soon enough. It is getting quite irritating! But I guess I got to leave it for another day to figure out. I’m quite busy right this moment.

There wasn’t a curator named for this treasury so I didn’t quite know the actual title but you’d forgive me for titling Pink Fetish. :P Have a great week and I’d see you again tomorrow. I still can’t believe its DECEMBER.

Treasuries I Love

I have been busy this week. Both with my hands on new items and orders, as well as clicking the mouse to refresh the Etsy frontpage. I have amassed quite a number of favourites this week so I shall just share my favourite.

I love this for a few reasons. The foremost being that the curator chose each of these Etsy sellers based on their newbie status. Every so often the newbies get lost in the crowd as the ‘seniors’ take the spotlight. So it was heart warming to see someone dedicate such a beautiful treasury for the newbies on the block.

I have taken my stock off the Etsy site. I still use my account for purchasing items and adding loads of favourites. But my sales are all done via the Sparkle Thots website. It helps to consolidate the sales and well, takes up just about all the time I can spare. If ever I have an extra pair of hands or two, or maybe 48 hours in a day, I might return to selling there. But for now, I’m contend with my own corner of the web.

Red Grey Winter

It has been a really busy day. I finally managed to clear the backlog of orders, most correspondence and play with the tod. Tired out. I *had* thought it would be possible to dream up new items today but I am really bushed.

What was keeping me sane today was the Etsy frontpage (so pretty!) and I have loaded a whole bunch of screenshots into the set (drop by for a look see if you are interested). This particular one up above really stopped me dead in my tracks. It IS Christmas soon.
