I had a couple of ideas swimming about in my head. All related with celebrations, moments to remember. Then I thought to share something more personal. I delved into the photo archives and… I lost it. There were so many precious moments to share that I didn’t know where to begin or how to even start.

I’d figure it out somehow. But for the moment, I’d just enjoy the moment of being there. Like today when we had cake. It was a mess of course. But I think the kids enjoyed it. Especially older brother with his infatuation for all things pink. (Would you believe he asked for a Strawberry Shortcake cake for his birthday?!)

Back tomorrow with precious pictures of lil ones, all full of innocence.

** Giveaway still on. Check Ribbons Ring :: The Giveaway Edition for more details.

It was a crazy week that just passed. Fell sick, fever. Made me wonder how the kids manage to have so much energy in them even at 40deg when all I wanted to do at 39deg was curl up in bed the whole day. Then the server went wonkers and a mini-war ensued with the webhost. Which finally resulted in a last minute decision to ‘jump ship’. The blog is nicely settled in over at the new webhost (as you can very well tell) but the shop is undergoing upgrades. Hoping to be done by the end of the week, if not next. A bit hard to predict because binary codes always get me in a frenzy. Plus the kids aren’t helping.

So… for the moment, shop over at our Etsy store (July’s sale items are still on sale for a couple more days…) or drop me an email if you spot something you are interested in in our Flickr photostream. Thanks for your awesome support. And I hope you’d enjoy this edition of peace and calm brought to you by the humble lavender plant.

I’m sure in need of it.

Here’s to a refreshing week ahead. (One can hope no?)

I guess this would be a good time to bake something. After the delish looking cupcakes from earlier this week. How about trying your hand at a rainbow cake?

Make cooking even more fun with these wooden blocks salt & pepper shakers. I’d love dining at a cafe that sets its tables with such salt & pepper shakers. So quaint! So fun! It feels like being a kid again. :D

Available at Greener Grass Design.

With this little kitty, it is pretty much a love-hate relationship. If you love Hello Kitty, you might be inspired to try this out at home.

If not, well, just trash it aside as some random ‘I wish I didn’t know” post. Although.. if you are into baking, you might be tempted to check out the rest of the site.

… that there was a cupcake truck in Singapore. Oh you lucky peeps in New Haven!

And now I am craving for a cupcake. Pfft.
