This turned out a little more pink than I expected. But still sweet and very ‘Sparkle Thots‘.

Was rushing this morning to prep two orders out in today’s shipment. They were for two different brides (US and UK) and they had each selected jewelry pieces to gift to their bridesmaids. A lovely thought, and a special day for all. So extra extra special care was taken in packing the order.

As there were more than the  usual 1-2 items in the package, the packaging varied. Clearly the typical envelope would not cut it. A little gift tag was included for them to write their own personalised message and kraft bags to pack them all in.

I wish both brides would enjoy unwrapping the packages and that their bridesmaids would enjoy the little token specially chosen for them.

1. I do stalk multiples of most items i store. Just convo me for details
2. Note that I am based in Singapore. A minimum of 10 working days is generally required for shipping alone
3. If you require multiples, do allow time too for crafting your order. Each is custom made on order
4. Do allow time for communication, discussion and time zone difference. Sometimes, your day is my night. And vice versa
5. Interested in customising something totally different? I’m open to new ideas
6. Price breaks are usually applicable on a minimum of 5 pieces of the same item. Enquire for details.

Shoppity Shop!

Been a while since I last featured a treasury. I was happily browsing when I stumbled upon this particular one in which we were featured. It was a delight really. Great company we are in too!

Right this moment… we are winding down from Valentine’s and CNY. We are truly sorry if your packages have been delayed but we really have no control over the packages once they have shipped. We are now seeing packages to the US take upwards of 3 weeks to arrive. A troubling thought but one we are trying our best to deal with.

In the meantime, we are still busy creating new treasures. Our theme of Flowers and Lace is still on… one that is perfect for weddings and all sorts of sentimental occasions. And as always, here are some new items that have made it to our Etsy store.

I love jewelry. Especially those that tell a story. Lately, there has been a slew of requests from people at different stages of life. New parents, newly married, newly engaged. They excite me with their life stories and the journey they are all embarking on.

And here are just a couple of new designs inspired from working with them. Some are available in our Etsy store already. The Bird’s Nest pendant is only available on request.

Finally had some time to work on supplies that had come in over the past month or so. This lil charm should require no introduction. The Little Prince is a much loved character and really needs no further ‘accents’. Simple charm necklace has been released in our Etsy store.

Also, as promised, a couple of items are already marked down (till 31st Dec). Items with “Blessed” as a prefix in their titles have been specially marked down for the season. Our way of saying thank you for a great year. Discounts vary but all are whilst stocks last. No further discounts are applicable on these items. Currently on “Blessed” list, Afternoon Tea and Tears of Joy.

And… I did say I was infatuated with chainmaille. Experimenting with different chain designs, mix and match. They make delightful necklaces and bracelets. Coming soon in end Dec, early Jan 2011.

Since launching Sparkle Thots, I’ve made a good many indie crafter friends. Recently the field expanded (or became even more focused?) to be local (SG) indie mum-crafter friends. I figure that a good many people are not quite enjoying today. The children have gone back to school which probably meant heavier traffic, sleepy-eyed children (and likely their parents!) readjusting to the school routine. The humdrum continues. So let’s try to put a spring in our step with this beautifully curated treasury. It most certainly put a smile on my face when curator egomurder contacted me to say my items were a part of (not one but) two of her treasuries.

Brightened up my difficult week. And I hope it’d do the same for you.

Oh what a night! Diamond Wannabe got featured on Etsy’s Frontpage late last night and I had such a thrill watching the hits jump. It was a dream come true. Especially when I was in the awesome company handpicked by Ginger of Msbelle (you should check her out too!) She always makes the loveliest treasuries. She has a keen eye for such.

I’ve also finally had the time to restock both the Etsy and the official store. There are special deals on-going at both. Each have different items on sale or a different promotion. Choose which will be best for your budget.
