Blushing Blue Loves ~ a dainty amazonite rose ring wrapped in silver

Interestingly enough, the last week has seen an interest in rings. Not that I’m complaining (I love rings!), just interesting to note. And since rings are custom-made for the buyer (or in some cases, special friend), they are made from scratch and not taken from a stockpile.

They require a whole lot more work than most other pieces but so much more rewarding to see them taking shape. So here’s a couple of highlights from this week. Some new shots of ‘old’ favourites.

Swirl ~ Laced Delight; a romantic concoction of carefully twirled wires

I seriously fell in love with this all over again. It sat on my worktable for a while before I could bear to pack it away. Intricate, dainty and just beautiful to look at. Yes, I’m biased but I do think you’d agree!

Ribbons ~ Don’t Forget

I don’t think this needs any introduction. What I must say though is that the lighting that day was beautiful. And the rosy hint of the rose gold wire was picked up wonderfully. A subtle hint of rosy pink, a lovely dose of femininity.

This week has been a random assortment of releases. Inspired by the lilac flowers, I went in search of pretty violet/lilac/purple beads to craft up a storm. This led me to rediscover some of the neglected beads that I have got in my stash, as well as, find new ones delivered to my doorstep (eeps!). So, here’s what I’ve been up to this past week, a random mix of pearls, crystals and gold and silver.

Featured up above is the new Blue Danube necklace. A dainty, delicate drop of violet-blue, she’s a simple elegant piece to add just the hint of colour.

Olive

Featuring Swarovski crystal cubes in a lovely shade of olive (from whence it got its name), these join Rosy (pink set in silver). More colours to be released (light amethyst, carribean blue and a smoky grey) soon.

We’ve also been blessed to have I’d Be Home featured in an Etsy Finds newsletter. The feature might have been small but no less thrilling. Thank you! We have one last piece in pink and brown. Grab it whilst stock lasts. Or both at a discounted rate. Contact me for details.

These are coming soon! We go together; a mini series of similar yet different pairs of earrings. For you to share with a friend or to keep all for yourself. These two feature lovely peach hued faceted Czech glass; and a fluted round with a light AB finish. All findings used are goldplated.

And lastly, a customisation. Quite forgotten I still had stock of these beautiful diamante studded earhoops. Set with pearls, they look gorgeous. All findings used are 925 silver. I just might release one for sale in the shop soon.

These ballet slippers adorned with delightful studs caught my eye. I have long since given up on ballet (ok, more like ballet gave up on me!) and have none of the graceful poise that said dancers have. BUT these still look so pretty that I’m just tempted to get them anyway.

I ‘fess. The clutch caught my eye partly because of the fabric used. I distinctly remember having a skirt with similar prints. It’d be too ‘matchy-matchy’ though to wear both the skirt and carry the clutch. But I think the clutch works rather nicely in this print. Available at Didi Lemoure.
