<p>Spent copious amount of time at Daiso, the local (ok, more like imported from Japan) version of a dollar store where everything retails at $2. Lots of fun! I spent an insane amount of time at the kitchen section with bento boxes, sets and the like. So when I spotted this <a title="Lunch Bag" href="http://www.makegoodbooks.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/lwc-lunch-bag-p96-98-3.png" target="_blank">lunch bag tutorial</a> on <a title="Lilac Silhouette" href="http://lilacsilhouette.blogspot.com/2009/10/diy-linen-lunch-bag.html" target="_blank">Lilac Silhouette</a>, I just had to share.</p>
<p>Like she mentioned, it looks easy enough. Maybe I can motivate myself to do it &#8230; when the kids go to school? Tutorial is part of a freebie from <a title="Make Good Books" href="http://www.makegoodbooks.com/books/isbn/978-1-59030-648-2" target="_blank">Make Good Books</a>.</p>

I &#8216;fess. The clutch caught my eye partly because of the fabric used. I distinctly remember having a skirt with similar prints. It&#8217;d be too &#8216;matchy-matchy&#8217; though to wear both the skirt and carry the clutch. But I think the clutch works rather nicely in this print. Available at Didi Lemoure.

Know what I mean?
You do? So is anyone getting me one?

<p>On Saturday, I dragged the two guys (husband and son, who were you thinking of?!) down to Cathay for some shopping. Was very rewarding with Fash Bash going on and am really happy with the loot.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">favourite item! From <a title="Forest Prints" href="http://forestprints.com/" target="_blank">Little Odd Forest</a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3576/3455136360_84c3045d26.jpg" alt="" width="400" /></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">and this lil unicorn pouch (two faced cutie), also by <a title="Forest Prints" href="http://forestprints.com/" target="_blank">Little Odd Forest</a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3315/3454283279_1f8c572e05.jpg?v=0" alt="" width="400" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">not to mention wristlets, (fav of 3 pictured here) from <a title="Suzz" href="http://suzz.com" target="_blank">Suzz</a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">It was a good time to catch up with some friends, including <a title="I Want That" href="http://www.iwantthat.sg/" target="_blank">I Want That!</a> I first met them at <a title="Poppy" href="http://sparklethots.com/blog/index.php/2008/04/28/out-at-poppys/" target="_blank">Poppy Girls&#8217; Day Out</a> last year (eeps, literally <em>last</em> year!) and they are still as sweet as ever.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Then after Fash Bash, we made it to Wood Would. Love their stuff and would have bought everything if the pockets allowed.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="alignnone" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3588/3455116310_058f240875.jpg?v=0" alt="" width="400" /></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Only came away with some labels from French General. All in all, a nice haul for a Saturday shopping trip. <img src='http://sparklethots.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>When Steve Jobs first launched the Macbook Air, he placed the mac in an envelope. This is a quirky throwback to the press conference and is something I am lemming. Not that my macbook is a Macbook Air. Or that it travels all that much.</p>
<p>Mine stays home quite a fair bit, moving occasionally from room to room.</p>
<p>This &#8216;envelope&#8217; is actually leather and is designed to fit snuggly around the macbook air or the new 13&#8243; aluminium macbooks (both of which I don&#8217;t have!). It retails at A119.99 and is designed by <a title="Shuky" href="http://www.shuky.com/" target="_blank">Shuky</a>. It can be bought online at <a title="Bags N Packs" href="http://www.bagsnpacks.com.au/par-avion-macbook-air-13-p-309.html" target="_blank">BagsnPacks</a>. Now pardon me while I add it to my evergrowing wishlist.</p>

A bit of country, a dash of floral, this simple country floral bag by Wynn of ZakkaArt is perfectly charming. She has a wonderful range of handmade bags in her Etsy shop and even a listing to customise your own.
I&#8217;ve added it to my wishlist and hopefully, I&#8217;d get it soon enough!

<p style="text-align: left;">I had favourited Etsy shop <a title="Vicky Riley" href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=59437" target="_blank">Vicky Riley</a> but *hangs head* forgot about them until I spotted them on the FP yesterday. I loved the bag featured and went in to discover that not only were they already on my list of favourites but that they were having a <a title="Vicky Riley Sale Section" href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=59437&amp;section_id=5756344" target="_blank">sale</a>!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn159/sparklethotssg/catba.jpg" alt="" width="200" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn159/sparklethotssg/mouseshopper.jpg" alt="" width="200" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Really worth it if you ask me. All handmade and has a shabby chicness about it. Perfect for a casual day out or for the little girls in your life.</p>
