Many more items to photograph, edit and list. Sometimes I wish I have an elf or two in the workshop. Not the little imp that babyK is growing into. With Jayden back in school, we are readjusting our routine yet again. Orders are still being processed within the 3 day (usually 1 day out the door) turnaround so that much, I am thankful.

Upcoming, you’d see classic pieces of elegant charms that can glam up the outfit or tone down for the weekend. As well as a new series I am working on of romance and sparkly sparkly Swarovski. Lots of lovely gemmies (in my opinion) that were uncovered in Project Declutter (ie, find the beading table).

And now, back to mummy duties. Shops are still open..! And oh, there is a tiny incentive awaiting you at our official store. If only you know how to erhmm, look. Etsy store has other specials.

I figure that a good many people are not quite enjoying today. The children have gone back to school which probably meant heavier traffic, sleepy-eyed children (and likely their parents!) readjusting to the school routine. The humdrum continues. So let’s try to put a spring in our step with this beautifully curated treasury. It most certainly put a smile on my face when curator egomurder contacted me to say my items were a part of (not one but) two of her treasuries.

Floral Mondays :: Sakuras

A good 5 years ago, we went to Korea for our honeymoon.We weren’t quite planning ahead to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom but we managed to. Well, the tail end at least. It was still beautiful, and one can only imagine how utterly beautiful the place would have looked in the full splendour. This print by Katrina just brings back memories of strolls in the nearby park (we stayed near enough to Namsan Park, Seoul, to walk over every day).

I’d love to see the cherry blossoms again!

burnt week

Seriously, and quite literally, burnt. Baby girl has been running a temperature since Monday and we are all pooped from dealing with the mandatory crankiness not to mention, soiled diapers. The in-laws have been a great help in taking older brother J off our hands in the day so that we are still, erhmm, sane. Somewhat at least.

Apparently babyK being under a year old, isn’t supposed to be on brufen and so we have only two ‘weapons’ against the high fevers. Sponging and paracetemol. 5 days of 4 hourly doses has turned her into a (relatively) easy to feed trooper. Compared to Monday that is. Now to sit and wait out the death of the virus. Can’t happen any sooner.

So, that explains the radio silence. But… I did manage to pick up the petite shoe earrings. I’ve emailed all on the pre-order list already. Remember to check your mailboxes. And well, I couldn’t resist grabbing more cutesy stuff. Herd mentality perhaps but don’t you think these cows are so darn cute?!

Sparkle Thots Jewellery :: Vanda (Earrings)

The colours and elements that make up this pair reminds me of Singapore’s national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim. Goldplated floral charms with czech glass accents make for a lightweight piece that is high on style. Measures in at approximately 40MM, she’d be in stores shortly.

What an exciting midweek afternoon! The cool nice rains that were pelting down the entire morning had a more sinister feel in the heart of town with stretches of Orchard Road flooded. The twitter/fb/blog universe was abuzz with the news and images were being sent back and forth. Well, ok. The Singapore local community anyway.
