Sparkle Thots

… and needing instant gratification.

Being heavily pregnant, I am trying to finish up the projects that I have on hand. I am due end of this month (yes, this month!) but it is likely that baby girl will come earlier. I didn’t quite go through the nesting phase with my firstborn and I’m going through a ‘crafter’s variation’ of nesting with this one!

I don’t have an uncontrollable urge to tidy the home but I am trying to tie up loose ends of projects! Crafting projects that is. That and a strange desire to be sappy. Things like birthstones and symbolic items of references to family are suddenly key on the Sparkle Thots agenda. And I set about to create Endless Loops, the birthstone series. More pictures to be revealed soon.

And making a bird’s nest pendant for myself. Because I needed it NOW. At erhmm, 12am this morning. These are not for sale. I noticed that most pendants available are for 3 eggs but I wanted one with 4 (one for each member of the family). So I worked on my messy nest.

It satisfied the ‘craving’. If you want your own, please get it from the ‘expert’ Cindy. Hers are so much more structured than my wired mess.
