Loving the blues …

Revisited Trunkt and found this there. Loved it and here it is as this week’s fave treasury! Hope you’d like it too!

Yes, I am well aware that Valentine’s is long over but it is always lovely to send a little love. Nevermind the season, nevermind when. It is a case of sending lil love notes all around. I stumbled upon Amy Adams’ delightful tutorial of a felt envelope and fell in love with it.

Quite simple, even I am tempted to try my hand at it.

Have fun. Oh, and I think it’d be lovely to adapt it to a Father’s Day craft. You know, with the kids? Or for Teacher’s Day? Coupled with a red apple. Ooh. FUN! And oh, weddings too! Ok, the possibilities are literally, endless.

I took receipt of quite a few blue hued gemstones yesterday. And gosh, are they GORGEOUS. I’m going to be ‘blue eyed’ for a while right now. I don’t think I’d use them all at once but gee, they are really yummy.

Ahhh… More gemmies found in the Hoard. But for now, I’ve got to pack orders for today’s postal run! I’m kind of excited! One package is off to Japan. Not our first there but it has been a while since the last there. Whatever the case, the shop‘s still open.

Beauty on a budget is still beautiful! I love the idea of recycling orange peels to use as decorative votives. Of course if you have a big party getting so many orange peels is going to be a major headache.

Kind of busy right this moment. Restocked the shop with some goodies late last night. Rather sleepy right now. I’ve got a couple more goodies to load in store but… I guess they’d have to wait.

Really assorted updates to the shop by tonight! And have you noticed? Our SALE section is back! *big grin* You know what to do!

I love this teaset all dotted with hearts. I love that the spout is in the shape of a heart. So quaint. And do you spot the subtle heart in the cups?

Seen via Simple Song. Available at MollaSpace. Makes for a lovely wedding present don’t you think?!

I must admit, this has got to be one of my favourite colour combinations. I love how the garnet rondelles just ‘pop’ against the creamy whiteness of the pearls. Yummy really.

Or if you like a little more zest, here’s Tangerine. A colour ‘pop’ of citrine and carnelian.

Or well, if you like a more classic combination, here’s Mystery Elegance with a b/w colour palette.

Three different yet similar earrings. Which would you choose? Available in store soon. (Or if you are really eager, drop me a mail!)

love, love, love this!

Personalised name plate that is actually safe to use (for eating I mean). Available from aedrieloriginals. She seems to ship only within US…

Check out the rest of the store for other selections. Some would make lovely wedding gifts.

I’m slowly working through my hoard… and it actually includes a whole box of pearls. With their lovely lustre and sheen, they add so much to the creation. Some, like these amazing freshwater coin pearls have so much ‘weight’ they really deserve to shine on their own.

I’ve kept this pair simple and elegant. Perfect really for everyday use. Yet special enough to be gifted (and worn!) by a blushing bride on her special day. It is probably an Asian thing to flash those blings on the wedding day but slowly, I see a few brides taking the ‘subtle’ method of accessorising with other gemstones / pearls. And it does not take away from their beauty on their special day either!

Now available in store. (Less one in inventory… I’m keeping a pair!)

Seen via D.Sharp Journal. Muahahahaha. I need to print this quote somewhere. In bold.

** New category! **

Of course the ‘order’ is junked when I’m superbly busy and can’t afford the time. But by and by, let’s get into shape! Hang on for the ride! :D
