Bright red orchids in a glass (goldfish sorta) bowl sit right in the centre of the table. A lovely classy touch to a really beautiful do. We attended a friend’s wedding on Saturday and enjoyed ourselves to the max. Her white french lace gown was shown off beautifully at the church wedding and her peranakan roots with a kerbaya at the dinner.

It was a lovely wedding. You could REALLY feel the love that every one of the guests had for the couple and that God was at the heart of the marriage. I say that their marriage is off to an awesome start. Not because of the many many attention to details in making the day so amazing, but because they really built their relationship on a solid rock foundation of faith.

His richest blessings to you both, J and M!

Livy of A Field Journal contributed a gorgeous Bouquet Box tutorial to Once Wed. It makes for a splendid centrepiece for the reception table. A really pretty sight! Choose colours to match your event theme. Yes, event. I think with a touch of creativity, you can incorporate it to just about any event. Not just a wedding.

Oh, if you are looking to use it for a wedding, you might even want to tweak it to be an angpao (red packet) box or place a little bowl of blank notecards beside it for guests to fill out at reception.

Starting a new themed weekday / weekday theme… Friday Selections. A round up of items that I’d love to have. Sometimes they’d have been individually featured during the week, other times, not. Let’s see how things progress!

This cute lil illustration by Anna Melcon Bond made me smile. :) Really sweet and whimsical.

Makes for a great cheering up on the sweltering day. I had a great day out (unintended to be so LONG) and am back in the workroom clearing orders. More new goodies tomorrow. Hopefully! The weather is really making me melt and lethargic. Bleahz.

Just felt like a splash of colour is needed and this iridescent Czech glass bead seemed to do the trick. Loaded in store and immediately on sale. Just because I felt like it needed a new place to spread some joy and colour. :D

Spring Swirls

A mini restock and the shop is looking like a garden. We have adjusted the prices on some (ie, SALE time :P ) and have done some springcleaning. Hopefully, this will allow you to find what you want with more ease.

Don’t quite know what we are talking? Well… now you can shop by ‘colour’ (gold, silver or bronze accessories), ‘type’ (necklace, earrings or bracelets), ‘collections’ (special series we have every now and then) or price range. Check it out in store!

How was your Valentine’s? This lil blogpost over at Oh, Hello Friend should charm you. And well, maybe inspire you for the next special day coming up. And it really doesn’t have to be for a special guy. It could be for a best friend… or a child. Sweet really!

ps: works well for a wedding / baby shower don’t you think?
