celebrating with Knotty Bicsie
Oct 13th, 2008 by Ruth

Saturday was Knotty Bicsie’s tea party and we trooped on down to Betsy’s Admiralty home to join in the fun. It has been a long while since I met her (and lots of other crafter friends!), compounded by my non-attendance at MAAD for quite a bit. I promise I’d have something up next month. I have had a number of emails and sms-es asking when I’d be going. I can’t say… but if I do, I’d let you all know! It is quite difficult to go these days… my son demands too much attention and a 2 day fair is hard to balance.

ANYWAY… back to Knotty Bicsie! The lil shop turned 2 and we had fun celebrating. Betsy’s crafting studio is a lovely nook, away from the hustle and bustle, it really has an idyllic feel. A great place to hang out and learn a new craft.

The lil studio is stocked with yarn in the loveliest of shades. A real treat! And has little homely touches to brighten up the place. Not to mention, it provides a wonderful place to showcase her works. Some are for sale, or do enquire for a customisation! Or even to learn how to knit / crochet / do tatting.

I’d love to visit again… and hopefully learn the craft but I think I have too many things on my plate right this moment. So I did the next best thing and brought home some ‘Magic Mushrooms’. They hide a lipstick in the stem!
