Just a quick note… tomorrow’s a public holiday over here in Singapore so shipping will be delayed by a day as well any order processing.

… and … because you all loved Aloha SO much, it is back for a limited period. Once this run ends, it is really gone for good! (I learnt that the teardrop shell pearl is no longer in production…) As limited as it already is, I am amused to note that it is going international. Most of the available pairs are actually being shipped out of the sunny island of Singapore. So erhmm, I do believe you’d be hardpressed to find someone has it in your neighbourhood.

Okay, so this is not quite ‘personal’ but this store just got my attention. I found Mamamonkey whilst searching for kids rompers the other day and I had it hearted in a jiffy. The quirky one liners are the sort of thing that tickle my funny bone.

Go take a look. Lotsa fun stuff! :)

** I know there are mums-to-be who are ok with people patting their pregnant bellies. But I was not one of them. Because Jayden was (deceptively!) quiet in utero, there really was nothing to feel. No kicks, no movement nothing. I got kind of peeved and nearly printed a tee with a hands off sign. But I never got down to it. At least now I know where to get one!

A little bird told me she had flown off to be with a new friend… and was feeling lonely. So a pair of bronze birds have hatched.

Available in store now. And on sale too!

Hmm, the shop does look like it wasn’t updated last week but it was! Just that the items sold out. Done some backend admin to the inventory and I think we are set for the new week. SALE items are still there :D

Also been busy with a custom order …

Carved amazonite flowers, a mixture of swarovski and freshwater pearls, gold plated chains with a heart shaped toggle clasp, up to a length of over 40 inches, this long necklace offers versatility! Find it three times round for a short choker styled look, doubled in half for a chic fashionista or at full length to suit whatever you may be wearing.

Lovely!

In a world of the mass produced, personalised items are somewhat of a rarity. This week we’d turn the spotlight on some companies that have made personalisation the name of the game. And to kick start the series, here’s a selection of lovely personalised stationery that are available.

  1. Girls Personalised Stationery Set by Chick Print
  2. 4-Ever Personalised Stationery Set by Silhouette Blue
  3. 3+ Siblings Flat Cards by Sarah and Abraham
  4. Personalised Note Cards by Pumpkins Putnik
  5. Bird in Berry Tree Personalized Notes by Anna Cote
  6. Custom Siblings Silhouette Folded Cards by Le Papier Designs

Now, aren’t you eager to pick up the pen and send out a personal note? By the way, browse through the shops. Some have really chic birth announcement cards, prints for framing and stationery sets complete with stickers. See what meets your needs!

Ain’t she pretty?!

Well, technically, this isn’t a tutorial but I found the pictures by Nicole to be really detailed. So perhaps you might want to attempt it? Otherwise, just enjoy hers and take the weekend off. :) I’d see you tomorrow for the treasury round up!

It rained this morning. Whilst I was taking these pictures so the lighting is kind of ‘off’. But these are really gorgeous in person.

Mine, all mine!

For now anyway…

Coming soon. :) When I get a breather!

It was a tiring week! Don’t ask me how it got so packed! But we sure did have fun. I worked late into the night to rush out some of the orders and am glad to say everything is packed and ready to ship. Today! So you should have a lovely way to welcome the weekend tomorrow. :)

Some snapshots of how we spent the week out. On the personal front…

With French Canadian cousin Eva! (last night @ Toa Payoh)

with Lis, Cindy and another Ruth! (Raffles City on Wednesday)

and begging for food (Bishan)

And at Sparkle Thots‘ behind the scenes…

Aloha

A Little Bird

Black Magic

have disappeared. You loved them apparently because they were sold within hours of listing.

And erhmm, no casual friday sale today. Because I just added a few more items to the SALE section. :) Surely that’s more fun!

If I ever received a package all wrapped up like that, it just might sit unopened for the whole year. Or maybe two. Or three… you get the point. I was never one to rip off the wrappers, much preferring to carefully peel away the tape and save the paper. With something as well wrapped as this, I might never get the heart to rip it apart.

And another view ..
