i *heart* tea

Well, I really do. But as I was looking at the perfect cuppa, I got distracted and decided to feature teaCUPS instead.

What inspired this post was a feature of the teacup lights done up by Domestic Construction. They turn the teacup upside down, add a bulb and hang it either in clusters or singularly for some different decor. Using either lovely floral edged cups or just coloured glass, they have a nice selection that would suit both male and female tastes.

Or if you like the warm glow of nightlights, this one by Tea Time Worldwide featuring vintage or reproduction prints has been turned into a dainty one. Imagine it in a victorian-inspired room. Or a craft room. Even if you don’t switch it on, it lends itself to the decor. Makes a delicate display on its own.

Another sort of light burns bright when the cup is fitted with candle wax! This one has been handpoured with natural soy wax with a Hyacinth scent. And since it is filled with soy wax, the cleansing is way easier. If you wish, a decor piece after you are done with the candle. Check out Ecram1 for more options on scents and cup designs.

These teacup tealight favours are exquisitely packed for gifting. They make a nice touch to the garden wedding tea party. There is a bulk discount price (orders above 96 sets) and an option to add a personalised tag. Available at Truly Wedding Favors.

Make believe play gets exquisite with this children’s tea set. Made of fine china, it even comes in its own gingham lined wicker basket. Available at JujuToo. But hurry before someone else grabs it.

And lastly, to round up this post, is this birdfeeder. Very different from the usual ones you’d find, it is a pretty way to use the teacups. If you are interested to make one for yourself, instructions are given on site.
