My favourite this week…

Field and Sea curated by Jennreese7.

and a close second…

While Summer’s Almost Over by Galejade.

Even if you browse through my Flickr photostream, you won’t find any new additions to the set featuring treasuries. I am not sure why. Perhaps I have gotten more critical? Perhaps I missed the good ones? Perhaps they are starting to feel the same after so many weeks of treasury stakeouts? Or perhaps I have been stringent in admitting only the front page treasuries?

I am a little bummed that there aren’t that many treasuries to love anymore.

Blaze Danielle has a simple tutorial for creating a portable palette out of Altoids tins. However, if you are like me, ie staying where there aren’t any such mints available, grab a tin of jujube sweets instead. TIN, not packet.

Or just keep your eyes open for anything that is similar.

Oh, and keep a sketchbook handy. Then you can get crafty anywhere.

It is STILL raining. Everyday.

So here is another one of those bright and cheerful pair of earrings to spruce up the mood. And hopefully, it will stop raining for the weekend so we can all go out and enjoy.

Leave a comment to reserve. :) or just grab it in store. And… do hop over to check out the on-going silent auction for Nie Nie. I’m just excited that the current highest bid is standing at USD 55. Woohoo! Can we go higher? All proceeds go direct to the recovery fund. Heck, you pay to their Paypal account. I get nothing except the delight that the fund’s going to be all buffed up.

Ending off the week on some tongue in cheek fun… is this to-do list temporary tattoo I spotted via It’s No Biggie. Random blog surfing got me there and laughing out loud at the hilarious picture.

So true really.

So for the times you want to inject some fun into mundane chores, try this to-do list tattoo. :D

The weather held up today. No rain thus far. Unfortunately I think I missed the ‘good lighting’ window and so there are a tonne of horrid looking shots in the camera right now. These are the more ‘decent’ ones that I managed to rescue.

Birds in Flight… This pair centres on a pair of gold plated birds winged, as if in flight. They soar with lots of hope above citrine coloured glass beads and gold hued Swarovski pearls. Made with gold plated chains and findings.

Lilac faceted glass teardrops dangle from gold plated hand forged hoops and off earwires. A light on the ears and full of elegance pair of earrings, these are great for a night out.

These, require a retake! I was in two minds about whether to show them off because the lighting was really bad on this. The colours of the pale pink rose quartz do not do justice to the actual thing nor do the freshwater pearls look like this. BUT I love it too much to keep it under wraps.

Let us just pray for good weather tomorrow!

Currently these are not stocked yet but you are welcome to leave a comment to reserve. :)

Good morning! I think a good many of you have heard of Three Potato Four by now. If not, well, it is a really quaint shop run by a lovely couple. It is stocked with many wonderful items (go see!) and the one I fell in love with is this!

Reminds me of Noddy! Hurry, the small range of egg cups are running out fast. This particular fella is made of wood and is in good vintage condition (shows just a wee bit of wear). Retails at USD 24.

Been having rather gloomy weather these few days… so decided to spruce things up with something bright and beautiful. A cluster of three flowers dangle from gold plated kidney earhooks and sway with every movement.

Add a bit of zest to your day.

Limited edition. Leave a comment to reserve.

Leah of More Ways To Waste Time spotted these amazing mobiles at Spin Designs. They are simply gorgeous! They would fit perfectly in modern homes and I’d love to see them in mine! Except that the little kiddo would tug on them, rip them off and break my heart.

My fave!, Birdie USD 42

Eiffel Tower, USD 42

Chandelier, USD 42

Obsession, USD 42

Maybe this particular one would work in my home! Friends, USD 28

More HERE.

I can’t believe it is already Tuesday. I’ve been really busy on the home front and have been sending out the orders as fast as I receive them. I trust that Singpost has been prompt too and that all packages have been received.

This is a simple piece. A reminder that sometimes, simple is key. It is already in store. A matted finish pewter heart hangs elegantly from silver plated chains. Remember to love. Remember to hug those you love dear.

Spotted via Rare Bird Finds, I wonder whether these rock vases are available at the Singapore Takashimaya… For the blessed people living in the US, here’s where they are available.

Personally, I think they make a great centrepiece, indoors or out. Indoors preferably.
