I started out wanting to share about an ‘old’ purchase I had made from Cindy of Starry Designs. It was quite some time back and most possibly, my first Indie buying treat. I had customised a pendant with amazonite beads (thus marking the start of my neverending love for amazonite!) and am pleased with the results. It was a good experience and months later when we started the Singapore Etsy team, we continued on as friends. Her birds’ nest items have quite the following and I am sure you can see why.

Then I waded through my favourite bookmarks and I found a whole family birdies waiting to be showcased! So here they are. From different Etsy sellers yet they all come together, presenting a very well coordinated image. I do believe Figs and Ginger has been showcased here before. The ‘older’ loyal Sparkle Thots’ readers would probably recognise them.

In any case, I guess I have gone completely birdbrained today. But in my defense, these are really well made silhouettes, clean line, modern yet retain a strong whimsical nature. Perfect reflection for the concrete jungle we are living in.

Right this moment, the lil chick earrings are chirping out to me!
