to everyone else (why aren’t you on the mailing list yet?!), here’s a new necklace that was just done up late last night. Lovely colours. My new fave. OOAK too.

I’ve been stalking the treasuries again… And I personally feel that these four are fantastic. Curated to exhibit a light feel, they are soft and pleasing to the eye and calming on the senses. They make me wish I could get a treasury for myself.

I must admit, what caught my eye in this treasury was the grey days pinafore listing. What with the pretty blue eyed girl smiling so sweetly out at you… how can you resist?!

But really, the whole treasury is so well curated that it really is a pleasure to behold.

B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L, by Kekepania814, is self explanatory and well named. I am a little thrown off with the strong picture of the earrings (top left) but otherwise it is perfect. The earrings are lovely. Just the picture is a bit harsh as compared to the overall look of the treasury. But that’s just my eye talking. It wanders off tangent occasionally…

Girly Girls by Marsiemum made it to frontpage and boy gal, was it a pretty sight. I found many new items to *heart* from this treasury and I’d probably be blogging about them some time soon. Be sure to keep an eye out for raved about items from Joom especially… That is quite a big hint.

Lastly we have Clearly, by Acajou. It is clean and pristine in layout, a classic look that can withstand the passing of time. I also am thrilled to find Paloma’s Nest tiny text bowls being featured here. I just love her creations. Simple, sweet and so meaningful.

Well, erhmm… the weekly special buys for the month of June have ended. We hope you enjoyed checking in for the rotating items and for those who managed to grab a deal or two, that you have fun accessorising. Stay tuned for new treats and special promos in July. (we turn ONE!)

I got the above pictures from Kotama Bouabane. Head on over to his website to catch the rest in the series of melting words.

With Jayden sick, we spent the weekend at home. We popped in a dvd and settled down for some movie magic.

The movie of choice, The Bucket List is about a pair of dying men who meet and make a list of ten things to do before they well, kick the bucket. They set out to cross the items off their list and discover themselves in the process.

There are quite a few poignant moments but the one I loved best was the ending bit where Jack Nicholson’s character, Edward Cole, crosses out 5 as he kisses his granddaughter. :) What does your list read like? The movie even has a facebook application that you can use to share your list with friends and family.

Busy week … just one more new piece to round off the week. And a gentle reminder that the sale ends today. Midnight… So if you had your eye on something, grab it now. Toodles!

** above featured piece is named Karen’s Summer. It features a pair of lovely handmade (by Karin) polymer clay round beads in bright summery colours. One of a kind, grab it before someone else does. **

It seems like it is a year for the princesses. Just got notice that another couple has been blessed with a baby girl. So here’s a little treasury for the little princesses we know.

Browns and pinks really go together well in this one!

Feeling a little blue after a harried week of caring for sick Jayden. He seems to be on the upmend now (like finally!) and we are all hoping it stays that way.

Anyway, here is a little blue themed treasury that made front page selected by pkfairaday. Selections are from the InteriorDesignTeam on Etsy. Pretty cool, I didn’t know there was such a team. You learn something new everyday.

Candles and clear glass holders are great things to customise. Try your hand at making your own tealight holders, personalised with your photos. It makes for a great way to display photographs. But don’t worry, your original picture is safe. We use photocopies!

Works well for quotes as well! The possibilities are quite mindblowing. Makes a great personalised gift for the deco cupboard or mantlepiece.

I’m having a love for pictures … Perhaps because they are so visually calming in this chaotic few days. The above images are from the website of Victoria Pearson. I surfed onto her site through some serious blog linking… and cannot quite retrace my steps right now. But like the person who first featured her, I love the way she displays her photos according to their colour palette.

Pretty pretty.

dozi design flowers

Yes, I know it isn’t quite the weekend (DIY weekends remember? *wink*) but I am sure you are already in that mood… so here’s a quick and easy tutorial to pass the time even faster. Seen via Creature Comforts, Wendy of Dozi Designs shares this fuss free way to make flowers.

Really simple. Really fast. Except that, perhaps you might be caught up in the fun and tempted to make a whole bunch… Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
