Cuteable blog of cute things

Ooooh… I forgot but we were featured on Cuteable! *jumps around happily*

I have been an avid reader of the site for quite some time now and to get A Leaf In Time featured was really an honour. I’m a happy camper and it does feel like a grand finish to the month of May. May June bring more of such goodies!

My favourite letter is coming up next!

What’s that?

LMNOP!

LMNOP? But there’s no such letter! And I thought I knew all the letters of the alphabet. Oh wait, it is L, M, N, O and P.

The above conversation jumped right into my mind when I first read about LMNOP. It is from a scene in Sesame Street‘s Alphabet Safari and deeply impressed upon me because Jayden has had it on replay mode for a while now.

LMNOP

But I digress. LMNOP or Laugh, Make, Nurture, Organise, Play is a delightful online magazine targeted at hip stylish parents and their children. Its free to download and choc a bloc with wonderful new treats. A great visual spread of some of the hottest and latest things to delight your child’s senses.

monkey business

This particular spread caught my eye. Most probably because the monkeys are in such a playful state. Reminds me of Jayden. One kid, many hands needed. These are available at Enfant Terrible.

Not all four letter words are bad. Not especially if they read SALE.

publique living popmat placemats

Spotted this on Oh Joy! a couple of days ago but forgot to blog about them. These PopMat Placemats by Publique Living, are simply adorable. Set your table in style with these wonderfully cut pop up scenes and it would make a lovely conversation point. Your guests might want to eat ‘cleanly’ and neatly just so to sneak the placemat home after dinner’s done.

Available online at Charles & Marie.

And erhmm, for those with nifty fingers, you just might want to try your hand at making some of your own. :P

A new piece that I’d be launching soon (a couple of days’ time). I love it for the simplicity yet it has a timeless quality about it.

A circle is a continous line. No beginning and no end. It goes on forever, much like life does. It moves forward even if we do not.

This necklace measures approximately 16 inches in length, features a centrepiece of flattened, hammered ring strung on gold plated chains. Closes with gold plated lobster clasp.

Mini Pinkish Gray Ring
Sterling Silver White Ring

I’m back to my ‘regular’ infatuation with rings again. I stumbled upon these rings from Star of the East and must say I am absolutely taken in by them. They are such beautiful works of nature, and enhanced by the mother-daughter team of Esther and Estella.

Love what they have done to the treasures of the sea. It has a calming effect and every piece is bound to be unique.

Jayden just fell asleep… and all is somewhat calm just right now. Camomile Extra is playing in the hifi and these two treasuries look apt for the mood. Tying up some loose ends, packing up the last of the day’s orders, and I too, would be catching a fast train into dreamland.

To my lovely customers, I am afraid your orders would only ship tomorrow. The sky had turned gray and started weeping when I packed them up. Hang in there. Your pretties are coming!

Logged in to Etsy and spotted this on the front page. Love it! I think Ashley Jacobsen did a great job with this selection.

Oh, and the first thing that caught my eye was the bag in the (top) right most corner. Its a bag by Syish, a fellow Singaporean. Hoot!

Do you love pearls? Or did you always have the conception that they were accessories more befitting of your mum (granny even)? Well, I love pearls. I remember as a child, I had this long strand (it seemed long then!) of pearls that I loved. As I flip through the old photos, I see countless images of me wearing them.

Now, I am rediscovering my love for pearls. And I share my interpretation with you.

And till end of May, these will go at a special introductory price. To order, leave a comment here. Please note, all prices stated are in SGD.
