Over Valentine, I got tagged by Cindy. I think I got tagged a long time back before but here goes round 2!

7 facts about me (some random, some weird):

  1. I like to land on my right foot on the top step of the stairs.
  2. I trip and fall when I get tired.
  3. I like to craft. Way too much.
  4. I am a night owl. Nights out before 12 midnight is a rare occurence.
  5. I flunk my history. BIG time.
  6. I love soft toys. I keep them all… even those from childhood.
  7. I don’t drive. I am not learning either.

Happy Chinese New Year!
Have fun feasting on all the goodies. I’m making up for lost time last year.

It is taking a little longer than expected because of the bad weather I am having over on this side of the island. So much for sunny Singapore. In any case, 5 new items are up for grabs. Also the items in the picture above are for sale. Only one has made it to the store for the moment. Kicking off the Valentine 08 series in a bit. But first, here’s a quick sneak. Valentine is a dainty necklace that encompasses Sparkle Thot’s style with aplomb. … now busy regaining sanity. :P

Thanks everyone who dropped by this weekend. It was a good time down with the rest of the handmade community in Singapore. Sparkle Thots managed to ‘spring clean’ the collection (streamline it some more) and you fantastic fans, got a new lease of life to the jewelry showcase. Yes, the rain did come and put a raincheck on the crowds but everything’s still fine. I managed to use the time to create more new stuff from the latest stash I got on Saturday.

We will be taking a break in March but are most likely going to be back in April. Watch for the details.

Meantime, guess who stopped by on Saturday? Hakim of Kookiest Plum came by for a chat and to hang out. He had his first (and last) Maad session for the year in January as he would be flying off in a week’s time to Australia for studies. Check out his site for more on his creations and to keep track of what new goodies he would be getting his hands into.

Just in case you aren’t in the know, Maki Squarepatch‘s tenure at Emerald Hill has ended. The lovely Weng sisters are taking a break before moving in to their new premises in April. Watch their space for more details.

This also means our consigned stocks are no longer there (*sobs*) but will most likely be back at wherever their new outlet is.

… so please don’t go climbing the hill looking for the quaint shopfront. They aren’t there anymore. Though admittedly, the area is a really pleasant one to be traipsing about.
