One of the most interesting gems that Indiepublic’s networking group turned out was Pauseability. It definitely felt like a defining moment that marked a change (of hope!) for the Singapore Indie market to discover that there actually was such a store located on the island. After years of drooling over the cozy and conducive market that the western world has, it was nothing short of spectacular to find one such place in Singapore.

Ok, enough gushing over it. What exactly is Pauseability? Its, in their own words, a place to take a pause, to rest, relate and create. A small lil corner in Braddell (Singapore!) with the possibility to create from their craft corner, read or relax. Or shop from their Pausey Crafts. They have a showcase online from which you can reserve items for collection in store. They host the occasional parent-child craft sessions and even ATC trading sessions.

Drop by and pause from the busy world outside.

Pauseability is located at Blk 125 Toa Payoh Lorong 1, #01-541. Opening hours are 11.30 am to 10 pm on Mondays, and Thursday through Saturday. 4 to 10pm Sundays. They are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

To pique your interest this school holidays, look into attending a parent-child polymer clay crafting session on 6 or 7 September. Check web for details.
