This week’s Friday Selections comes with a twist. It features items from my latest collection, one that I am quite enamoured with. I have always loved the idea of how circles are an ancient symbol of eternity and completeness, so perfect, with no beginning and no end, for love that is given comes back around again. I perked my ears up the first time I heard it — at a friend’s wedding ceremony. Since then, the thought has never left my head.

With this ideology of the circle, I created the Endless Loops collection. Made with faceted semi-precious gemstones in a dazzling array of colour, these loops are delicate and elegant. Each has a story to tell. No matter if you are getting it for yourself, or for someone special, we are sure you’d find one that will be perfect for her.

Seen via A Room Somewhere… I kind of wish I could have one in the study / workroom.

Being sappy and sentimental right now. So here’s a simple pair of earrings, perfect for a day filled with romance. These have a nice weight to them and are finished with 925 silver earwires. Delicate, romantic and still elegant.

… and needing instant gratification.

Being heavily pregnant, I am trying to finish up the projects that I have on hand. I am due end of this month (yes, this month!) but it is likely that baby girl will come earlier. I didn’t quite go through the nesting phase with my firstborn and I’m going through a ‘crafter’s variation’ of nesting with this one!

I don’t have an uncontrollable urge to tidy the home but I am trying to tie up loose ends of projects! Crafting projects that is. That and a strange desire to be sappy. Things like birthstones and symbolic items of references to family are suddenly key on the Sparkle Thots agenda. And I set about to create Endless Loops, the birthstone series. More pictures to be revealed soon.

And making a bird’s nest pendant for myself. Because I needed it NOW. At erhmm, 12am this morning. These are not for sale. I noticed that most pendants available are for 3 eggs but I wanted one with 4 (one for each member of the family). So I worked on my messy nest.

It satisfied the ‘craving’. If you want your own, please get it from the ‘expert’ Cindy. Hers are so much more structured than my wired mess.

Gone completely crazy with loops and hoops! I love the imagery of the circle; no beginning and no end. It just continues forever. For the latest selection from Sparkle Thots, we have gone somewhat understated luxury. Simple hoops wirewrapped with faceted gemstones.

All necklaces are approximately 16 inches long and close with lobster clasp. Pendants’ internal diameter is about 1/2 inch and has a drop of 2cm.
